I completed a six month Visual Basic/Active Server Pages course end of the year 2000.

Part of the course was to study for the Microsoft Certified Professional(MCP) in Visual Basic which I passed and then went on to pass two more MCP exams.

It was a really good course and although expensive, 14 out of 15 people that attended were offered jobs, many were offered 5 and 6 jobs.

I  was offered a job at a medical marketing company(won’t name the company here), I built websites for their clients who are blue chip pharmaceuticals. I loved the company, the staff and I loved the job, only problem was that I had to leave home at 6am every morning and returned sometimes around 6pm.

I changed career paths in 2004. Although for the first time, I was self employed, I found that to pay the bills, I had to work many hours and it still left me with not much time at home.

In 2008,  I started back online building websites and used adsense to make money, at one point, I had about 70 websites all making a few pounds each per month. Like a lot of people, I lost my adsense account. I knew the internet was the place to make money, I just had to find a way to do it right.

I tried some of the MLM companies but found that it was impossible to recruit people as the pay plans were impossible and the payouts were poor at best. I couldn’t keep trying to sell health pills and juices to family and friends.

In 2009, I moved to Spain and I once again had to get a J.O.B. to pay the bills. I continued to search for the dream work from home opportunity.

I heard about Empower Network a few weeks after they launched in 2011 but dismissed them as the Empower Network Compensation Plan seemed too good to be true.

Fast forward to mid 2013, I got an email from someone talking about a company that was all about personal development, mind-set training and also marketing training with a compensation plan built in as well. It sounded interesting so  I read further and realised that it was the same company that I had heard about in 2011.

I did a lot of research and knew that I was going to  join as the products provide the training and the training gives you the ability to sell their products or any other products that you want with no restriction. I just had to do the work. My only issue was finding the right team to join.

I found a team that use mainly FREE traffic sources to get results and signed up to Empower Network under the team leader.

After being an affiliate of the Empower Network for 12 months, I no longer promote any of their products.

WHY I built this Blog

The main reason I set this blog up is to help people who are in the same or similar situation as I was.

I ‘work’ about two – three hours a day then, I spend the rest of my time doing things I enjoy.

Isn’t this what you want?
