LifeVantage – The Company
LifeVantage was founded in 2003 and is run by Douglas Robinson(President & CEO), Robert Urban(Chief Operating Officer) and David Colbert(Chief Financial Officer).
With it’s headquarters in Salt Lake City, the company sells products in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Japan and Hong Kong.
If you want to be a Distributor then you will have to be living in one of these places. That rules me out!
LifeVantage – The Business Opportunity
You can join LifeVantage in two ways.
1. Join as a Preferred Customer.
You are now eligible to purchase LifeVantage products at wholesale prices
2. Join as a LifeVantage Distributor.
You can also purchase products at wholesale prices and you can earn commissions generated from your downline and your sales.
The online application process requires that you enter enroller details, I can’t help you here but, there is a customer service number to call.
Moving on.
LifeVantage offers six ways to get paid…
1. Fast Start Bonus(Paid Weekly)
2. Infinite Fast Start Bonus(Paid Weekly)
3. Fast Start Bonus Pool(Paid Monthly)
4. Royalty Commission(Paid Monthly)
5. Generational Matching Bonus(Paid Monthly)
6. Elite Bonus Pool(Paid Monthly)
LifeVantage – The Positions
You join as a Distributor, there are 10 further positions in the Comp Plan.
Positions Pro 4 up to Pro 6 are Premier.
Positions Pro 7 up to pro 9 are Elite.
Position Pro 10 is Master.
Distributor
You need to acquire 100 PV per month.
Pro 1
You need to acquire 100 PV per month + 1000 OV + minimum of 1 Leg.
Pro 2
You need to acquire 100 PV per month + 2500 OV + minimum of 1 Leg.
Pro 3
You need to acquire 100 PV per month + 5000 OV + minimum of 2 Legs.
Maximum % per Leg 80%.
Premier Pro 4
You need to acquire 200 PV per month + 10,000 OV + minimum of 2 Legs.
Maximum % per Leg 80%.
Premier Pro 5
You need to acquire 200 PV per month + 20,000 OV + minimum of 2 Legs.
Maximum % per Leg 70%.
Premier Pro 6
You need to acquire 200 PV per month + 50,000 OV + minimum of 2 Legs.
Maximum % per Leg 70%.
Elite Pro 7
You need to acquire 200 PV per month + 100,000 OV + minimum of 3 Legs.
Maximum % per Leg 60%/30%.
Elite Pro 8
You need to acquire 200 PV per month + 200,000 OV + minimum of 3 Legs.
Maximum % per Leg 60%/30%.
Elite Pro 9
You need to acquire 200 PV per month + 500,000 OV + minimum of 3 Legs.
Maximum % per Leg 60%/30%.
Master Pro 10
You need to acquire 200 PV per month + 1,000,000 OV + minimum of 3 Legs.
Maximum % per Leg 40%.
LifeVantage – Commission Structure
Fast Start Bonus
Receive 30% with PV between 100-199.
Receive 40% if you have purchased the Vantage Pack and have 200 PV monthly Autoship.
Paid Weekly.
Infinite Fast Start Bonus
Sell 3 Vantage Packs and receive $50 for each.
Sell 4 or more and you receive $100 for each.
Paid Weekly.
Fast Start Bonus Pool
Receive 1 share each time you sell 3 Vantage Pack Products within the month.
Each share is 5%.
Paid Monthly.
Royalty Commission
The amount depends on your position within the compensation Plan.
The amounts vary from 2% up to 9%.
Paid Monthly.
Generational Matching Bonus
You must enrol 1 Distributor or Preferred Customer per month with 100 PV.
You also have to maintain a minimum of 200 PV to get the full Matching Bonus.
Earn from 10% up to 30% match of all personally enrolled Distributors Royalty Commissions.
If your PV is between 100 and 199 then you will receive half of the Matching Bonus.
Paid Monthly.
Elite Pool
Receive up to 4% of total global commissionable sales.
This is received when you reach Elite Pro 7.
Elite Pro 7 = 1%
Elite Pro 8 = 2%
Elite Pro 9 = 3%
Master Pro 10 = 4%

LifeVantage – Summary
The main product Protandim wasn’t selling and sat on the shelves in America so the company decided to remove their product from the market and then wrap a lovely looking Compensation Plan around it to get others to sell it for them instead.
Yet another company using a health product with a comp plan.
Before this review, have you ever heard of Protandim?
Speaking of the comp plan, it will be extremely difficult to sell the products and make any significant money.
The company’s own earning disclaimer states that 1.98% of reps at Premier Pro 4 position earn on average $1,130.36 a month.

The LifeVantage Compensation Plan is very difficult to progress and receiving enough commissions to continue your business will prove even more difficult.
