Interested in joining Melaleuca? Read all about the Melaleuca Compensation Plan below.
First let me state that the compensation plan is subject to change at the discretion of the company.
There are three ways to make money at Melaleuca…
1. Number of customers
2. Amount each customer purchases monthly
3. Enrolling other Marketing Executives under you
* The company states that all commissions and bonuses earned are based on the sale of products to end consumers.
* You do not earn commissions and bonuses for recruiting or signing up customers.
You join Melaleuca with the status of Marketing Executive.
Ways To Earn Compensation
There are ten different types of commissions and bonuses…
1. Product Introduction Commission
This is earned by enrolling a customer and they buy a pack. Payments are $25 unless customer purchases a Value Pack($50) or an Essential Pack($100).
Note that if your customer purchases two packs in the first two months, you will only get commission on the first pack.
2. Quality Customer Enrolment
Signing up a new member, their membership kit on file and the member having fulfilled their monthly product point commitment.
3. Personally Enrolled Customer
On the second month that your customers order products, you can earn 7%, 14%(with 8-19 customers) or 20%(20+ customers up to 150 points) of the product points they purchase monthly.
4. Organization Commission
You earn 7% on the product points purchased each month by the customers of your downline.
5. 20/20 Bonus
In the 1st five months of enrolment, develop 20 quality customers.
6. One-Time Advancement Bonus/Pacesetter($200)
To qualify for this ongoing bonus, you have to complete 3 steps:

As you grow your business, you will continue to receive a one time bonus for each Director status as long as you advance one level each month.
7. Leadership Development Bonus
Each time one of your downline reaches Director and above, you earn an amount equal to 50% of their one time bonus.
Your status has to be higher than or equal to your member’s status to get this payment.
8. Leadership Pools
Based on the increase of new customers in your business you can enter into this pool.
9. Leadership Growth Bonus(Senior Directors and above only!)
When you have net growth during the month taken over a three month average.
The payments are Senior Directors($500), $1,000 to $2,000 for Executives and Corporate Directors.
10. Car Bonus(Senior Directors & Executive Directors only!)
If you are a Senior Director then $400 is yours towards a qualifying car of your choice.

Hi Rob, Came across your Blog, are you going to update your information with the new compensation plan? Also there is no “Downline” in Melaleuca…… and the plan works, I know many people doing very well with Melaleuca and they also have a great residual income for their families.
Rob Dennis says
Hi Anne, Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. Are you a Rep of Melaleuca?
If you are, how long has it been since you joined and what level have you reached?
I had a look on the main website and couldn’t find any links to the new comp plan, do you have a link?
I will review the “new” comp plan and update this post accordingly.
I never said the plan doesn’t work, MLM comp plans require you to bring in a lot of customers per month and retain those customer in order to make any sort of income.
Hope to hear back from you soon.

Hi Rob,
What would you advise people to do or which MLM company is good in your opinion.
Rob Dennis says
Hi Ansar,
Sorry for the delay in my reply.
I would advise people to stay away from MLM companies unless they have the skills to bring in 2000+ members a month. In most of the MLM companies, roughly 2000 members is needed to earn $5000.
I would advise to look at Top Tier companies where the commissions are $1000+ per sale.
Another option is to become a leads supplier to local businesses(lot less competition).
I wish you the best of luck.
