Working from home has many advantages including being around when you are needed, I woke up at 7am not because the alarm went off and I had to go to work but, my son woke up at that time.
He is teething and any parent knows this is a very difficult time for a baby.
He also has a stomach bug since yesterday so isn’t really interesting in eating and what he is eating, isn’t staying down long.
I picked him up from his bed, changed his nappy and sat down with him in the chair in his room.
We sat there for 55 minutes, silent with us hugging each other.
I remember not too many years ago, I wouldn’t of been able to be there at 7am let alone sit down for over 50 minutes during a weekday.
Because, I work from home and a lot of my business is automated, I can be there for my boy and my business will take care of itself.
It’s now almost 9.40pm and I’m writing this short blog post not to talk about money but, FREEDOM…
What would you give to be able to be there for your kids or family any day of the week at any time?
